The Palacios Community Hub understands the importance of communication and the role English has in local and global affairs. English is the most widely recognized language and is the most frequently used language in the United States.
Thanks to Wharton County Junior College and a grant from the Ministerial Alliance of Palacios, we are able to offer free English as a Second Language classes located at the Hub.
The mission of the WCJC Adult Education and Literacy program is to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) course, High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation course, Transitions to College, Integrated Education and Training courses to adults who reside within Wharton County Junior College service areas and assigned service areas by the grant.
*ESL Class (WCJC) – Mon & Wed 9AM-12PM Will resume in the Fall
*HSE (GED) Class (WCJC)-Mon & Wed 6-9PM Will resume in the Fall
ESL (Ministerial Alliance) – Tues & Thurs 6-9PM Beginning July 10,2018
