Alex’s Lemonade Stand: Palacios HUB & Boys and Girls Club Join the Fight
Alex’ s Lemonade Stand is a Foundation for Childhood Cancer that supports childhood cancer research.
Worldwide an estimated 263,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 every single year; that is 720 new kids every day.
Over 91,000 children die every year from cancer; that is approximately 250 kids every single day.
The Palacios Community Hub, in partnership with the Palacios Boys and Girls Club, will be hosting two Alex Lemonade Stands in June to support this work for children.
On June 6, from 12-5 p.m. you can join us in front of the Boys and Girls Club and then on Jun 7, from 12-4 p.m. meet us in front of Lowes Grocery Store.
Efforts from Palacios’ kids will help children all over the world fight childhood cancer “one cup of lemonade at a time.”
Donations are tax exempt and checks made payable to ‘Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’ will receive a tax receipt for their donation.
Do you want to participate but will be out of town on those dates? You can still help. Just text “Lemonade E 85944” to make a $10 donation.
